Lukasz, great article! Takes me back to the good old days, and filled in for me what I've missed during the last 5 (!!!) years. Can't wait to check out the rest of your blog entries. Keep up the good work!

I not sure I understand what you mean by control. PS2Link is a program for loading PS2 programs (ELFs) over the network. You can't control your PS2 remotely with it, unless you write a program to do so and you will be limited to controlling the hardware while your program is running.

Even when I´m not a programmer, I found almost all the info above very useful and EASY TO UNDERSTAND.

Just a question. I run a cibercafe in my country and I want to controll my PS2 from my PC, is there a program that can do that.

In fact, as well as I finished these post, I will look for more information about PS2Link, that seems to be the way, but ... Am I right?

O:-)

..psp and ps3 are pissed me off! Go people to code on PS2, that is a pretty good console/computer that everyone of us own at home ;) there's actually, I believe, an huge public and attention around it - could be very useful such a wrapper between PSP-homebrew and PS2 related stuff. I can't anymore listen to PSP or PS3 stuff, there's no reason to switch off the PS2 scene as some very extraordinary people have done something wonderful on this platform, but not yet a real - INDIPENDENT/HOMEBREW - game which count for an ultimate proof of power from the PS2 devs community. Anyway, THANK YOU ALL genius out there that'd done all this marvellous work!!

Very good reading! This definitly gained a permanently bookmark and a pdf printed copy for backup.
It's sad the people turned so fast to psp and ps3. Reading and learning the 'old' is good to understand the new paths.
It would be good if there was a more friendly support to the community from the companies, like the MIPS tool chain. Something like "this application was compiled with XXX's lib and can not be sold" logo when linked with official libs...
