I can't seem to get my the directional buttons on my remote control to work with SMS media player. Is it because I use swap magic coder too boot ELF files? or isn't SMS made to function with a remote?

I'm not sure which buttons work or not with SMS, but I do know that it can work with a remote to some extent. Such issues have been discussed many times at www.psx-scene.com (formerly ps2-scene.org), which has a special subforum dealing exclusively with SMS. If you take your questions to that forum I'm sure they will be answered in full, probably by the author EEUG himself.

Here at the ps2dev.org site the same questions may not be quite so welcome, as the site admins here only want posts dealing with program development, rather than usage instructions. (Btw: I'm not one of them.)
