why shouldn't it be possible? it works on PC so it should on PSP. you just need to write a driver for the PSP

There are a few problems with this idea. One is the system requirements - it does a lot of stuff in software, by the looks of it, and consequently requires a 1.3Ghz chip minimum. The PSP just doesn't have enough grunt for that. Another problem is that this would require a USB Host device, and the PSP is a USB Target. And finally the most obvious problem is that it has an A connector, and the PSP has a mini-B connector.

In fact, the analog signal deadline is due on the 31st of dicember of 2005. This at least applies to the US.

Have u also hear about the new tv's made by toshiba? supposelly they r equiped with the cell processor.

There seems to be confusion about the US schedule for moving to DTV. By the end of this year, all TVs are required to include a digital tuner. That is all. There is no requirement of broadcasters to /provide/ DTV on that date yet (although it is happening on non-broadcast delivery systems quite nicely).

2009 is the current date they want to have gotten everyone over to DTV and be able to shut off the analog signals. However, with how slowly the market moves in the US in this area, I wouldn't be surprised if it wound up being 2012.
