hi guys,
I just wanted to know that if i bring a ps3 from usa will it run here in pakistan & will the local ps3 games able to run on it. & will it support my tv or if i can use my computer moniter for better display. plz help guys u can also tell me alternate ideas |

However you will need to purchase USA Blu-ray movies if you want to watch them. While games are region free (currently, it may depend on the publisher), movies are not.
That's how I understand it anyway, please feel free to correct me.

Nor are PS1/2 games-you will have to buy NTSC versions. |

Just for information's sake (regarding movies), here are the 3 blu-ray region codes & their territories:
A/1: North America, Central America, South America, Japan, North Korea, South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Southeast Asia.
B/2: Europe, Greenland, French territories, Middle East, Africa, Australia and New Zealand.
C/3: India, Nepal, Mainland China, Pakistan, Russia, Central and South Asia.
So, a region 1 PS3 can play US & Japanese movies, for example. |

Are yuo aware of any firmware, software etc tu run PAL DVD dicss on US bought PS3 ? If not, do you expect any release from the manufacturer?
