Please try one of the numerous mirrors, such as http://www.fr.kernel.org/

And if you are only seeking packages, you may connect to the ftp directly: ftp://ftp.fr.kernel.org (please change [fr] to your country code)

Oh, wow, didn't know they had mirrors, I'll try the FTP seeing as how browsing through all that with links isn't fun.

So mm (andrew morton) is under /pub/linux/kernel/people/akpm

AKPM! WTF IS THAT! How the hell is that an abbreviation of Andrew Morton! AH!

Sometimes I just hate Linux...

...othertimes it's just me.

As a guess, K & P are probably the initials for Mr Morton's middle names.

Just a guess mind.

Yeah I realize that, but this was the longest kernel update I ever had, hell by the time I pulled up the config menu I just dropped the thing, maybe after a day or two I'll be sane enough to move on.
