ps2dev.org was not available for over a day due to some DNS issues. For the curious. It was because of two reasons.

1. ps2dev.org uses xname.org for secondary DNS. xname.org was the victom of a severe denial of service attack which brought down two of their servers.

2. ps2dev.org's primary DNS was assigned to ns.ps2dev.org. I only just found out that the domain name management system that delegates ps2dev.org had not allowed updating of IP address. ns.ps2dev.org was therefor pointing to an IP address which hasn't been valid for a number of years.

I have since delegated a working primary DNS.

I have also found someone who will be involved in a major upgrade of the ps2dev.org server over the next month. This should resolve many of the flakey issues surrounding the server.
