I have not dropped my psp(FW 1.5) at all and my psp power up only intermittently which most of the time,it could not be power up.
-The battery work fine on other sets.
-The charging led light up when running from supply but still it does not turn on
-By using jus the power supply alone without battery,it could not power up.
-Brought to servce centre and they did the test on my set, nothing was found wrong except for the intermittent power problem which they state they tested it fine and after 2 days of leaving over there,it could not be power on.THey state that some of the ICs inside might be faulty.

Anyone encounter this problem before?Help pls.And what shld i do?

I am also having problems with my PSP. It stopped one day and will not turn on. I tried another (working) battery and it still will not turn on.

Anyone have this problem?

seems like you have either

a) Got no battery life
b) Tried to customise a firmware and its dead
c) a DOA psp
