Senior Software Engineer - Debugging
Foster City, California
Overall, the position of the Senior Software Engineer - Debugging is expected to partner with the organization to perform PlayStation®2 programming and debugging.
We are interested in expertise in all areas of the PlayStation®2 including VU micro programming, IOP programming, MIPS assembly, IPU and SPU2. Low-level skills including assembly and low level debug skills are essential.
Responsibilities:
- PlayStation®2 programming, including low-level programming.
- Debugging tasks.
- Help diagnose and fix complex software bugs in a short time with little prior knowledge of the project.
Qualifications:
- Previous console development experience.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Advanced troubleshooting, low level debugging skills.
- 3 plus years of experience.
- Excellent communication skills.
