Im not too familuar w/ the PSX but surfing around the Japan Sony Playstation site I came across this..

Im gunna see if I can find an english version for theres a picture that looks like it would be advertising writing for your PSP...??

The newest PSX (The PVR, not the PS1) has software for converting video to MP4 for the PSP. I haven't tested that feature yet.

The multimedia software library included with the PSX is quite good, even if the MP4 conversion is reported to be quite underpowered (recommended to sleep while the unit chugs thru it).

There is no English version. At best you will find news sites that have a small article about this newest Japan-only release.

Any idea what resolution the encoded Videos are sent to the PSP are.

Are they crippled or can they run at full resolution like UMD movies.
