We've got plenty of useful links scattered all over this forum but nothing here, so I thought I would start.
Latest CELL AddOn CD (aka PS3 Linux Distributor's Starter Kit). This ISO image includes the latest PS3 kernels and kboot builds.

With the latest update (20070516), kboot now supports "booting" the Fedora core 7 install DVD. |

Another good resource:
IBM Education Assistant on Cell Broadband Engine
Topics covered:
- Getting Started
- Product Overview
- Introduction to Cell
- Linux on Cell
- Cell Blade Center
- Cell advanced level
- Cell programming hands-on
- Cell Programming workshop
- Cell application development
Some of those are still incomplete but this is a work in progress. Even if you already know your way around the Cell, the Getting Started is a good place to start (links to additional docs, SDK, web resources, "where to find what", etc.).
ooPo, I'm adding replies to this thread instead of editing my initial post so people see when there's something added. Feel free to summarize in the top post :) |
