That's not what the fixstars site says -- it says that you need a new kernel to boot on the new systems, and that their old version of ps3vram doesn't work with that new kernel.
There should be no problems with a new kernel and new ps3vram. If you're having specific problems, please reproduce with ps3-linux.git and post a dmesg here or on the cbe-oss-dev mailing list. |

Thank you Jim for the reply, i thought the new kernel was needed because they blocked PS3VRAM.
I hope they release in the future a new version with compatibility, or a new ps3vram. |
