Need help. Is there any thing I can change on the disk to run a fake game without altering my ps2 hardware

As long as you are trying to straight boot the PS2 with a non sony-official disc, this is not gonna work, no matter what.

How many other ways are there to boot the PS2 and how do you do it? Help somebody. There is a gold mine here. How much do you guy pay for a PS2 game in your country. I have to pay $85 for a good game like "Need for speed underground." I 'm sure you understand now.

The people who made the game need to get paid. So do the publishers, distributers, etc. If you want a free game, write one yourself, or find someone who's willing to do it for free (without compromising someone else's efforts).

Sorry it costs so much, wait a few years until it's a "Greatest Hit," or buy it used. Or silently protest the high cost by boycotting it.
