hi i want to install sdl on my fedora 8..............
tell me the libraraies and stuff needed for the installation

You mean linux SDL? Just use YUMEX. If you don't have YUMEX installed yet, run this in a terminal: yum install yumex

YUMEX will then be in the system menus. It gives a graphical front-end to yum, making it super easy to install anything in the repo... and things like SDL are in the repo. Check the menus first, yumex might already be installed.
