I saw this post at YDL forums, if i remember correctly CodecSys can decode MPEG2 streams and encode H.264 in realtime, maybe the source could help some projects.

I'd like to be wrong on this, but I don't think there's anything interesting at all in that tarball, sourcewise.

It looks to me thats its just there for GPL compliance - ie the source for their version of BusyBox, Linux kernel, various ps3 tools, etc.

I had a quick look around and couldn't find the special encoding sauce.
