with this PBP unpacker program i downloaded i noticed some file are graphics. i was wondeirng is there anyway to get the current firmware file. and modify the icons and stuff?
or any anything customizable? |

Yes, absolutely. All you have to do is unpack/unencrypt the firmware file and I'm sure you can modify all kinds of things. When you do that let me know. =) I'm counting on you! _________________ w00t |

replace PIC1.PNG in the PBP, that's the background. SFO will change the text that's shown and etc... _________________ w00t |

No. Only UNKNOWN.PSP and UNKNOWN.PSPAR are compressed (and/or) encrypted. _________________ w00t |

You don't really need it. Look at this thread http://forums.ps2dev.org/viewtopic.php?t=1425 for info about making the files you need. The only other thing you need is a PARAM.SFO file. You can get that from googling for any PBP file. Then just make a PBP file using any of the editors in this forum (all you need is param.sfo, and optionally some images) then save that and put it in PSP\GAMES\UPDATE\EBOOT.PBP and you're set to go. _________________ w00t |
