| anybody know if LUA currently supports animated GIF images? i certainly hope all this time Shine hasn't kept LUA from using any other image file type... |

lua is not a web browser..

just put the image sequence in a line and loop over it, does pretty much the same as animated gif, and its easier to edit
note: gif is not a free format anymore, so i guess it will not be added to luaplayer (shine/nevyn got more details, cause they develop it ;D )

| ok thanks guys, i just used png images and made then sequence together. worked better than a gif, but thanks anyways. |
