Hi there,

With Evilo we're making a 30 minutes presentation that will be shown during the next CRAU04 coding party in France - 17th to 19th of December 2004.

During this coding party, some Live [coding] Tutorials will be presented and as a good friend of the organizer I promised him to make something for this party concerning the Homebrew PS2 Development.

The goal is to let people know "it is possible and that's great, look how simple it is !" to summarize...

Lotsa things will be presented :
- PS2 Architecture, why it's so fun to code ?
- the PS2 scene
- Set up a cross compiling environment
- Code examples

I'd like to show 2 videos of the best PS2 demos released. Obviously, I have incorporated Soopadoopa/Aura For Laura but currently the second one is Haujobb/Tubula Rasa which is impressing but not at all homebrew-based and the discussion I have read on pouet.net made me think that they are not a good ambassador of our community ...

So if somebody can :
- Propose me another good PS2 demo (maybe from 3rd Creation)
- Encode it into a video file
I would thank him eternally :D

Blackdroid : yep I found some DivX o nthe NoRecess/Condense website : Lobotomia, R-Eleven, Evolution which are good demos (writing a full Lightwave realtime player is definitively awesome) but not as impressive as Soopadoopa (in terms of differetn effects and design) or Tubula Rasa... so I was wondering if there are some others...

In fact my perfect one would be a 3 minutes compilation of the best 3rd Creation compos but I don't have any captrue PC board and I not able to run a lot of the compos due to it seems some harcoded paths

Soks : filming this presentation in french wouldn't be very helpful to you :D But I'll try to do an english version if many people are interested :D
By the way, are you looking for sth ? tutorials ? articles ? there are plenty ! :D and in english :D [Note: your "Texas! Only two things come from Texas, steers and queers" made me laugh a few minutes :D]
