| hi , i have a psp 1000 and my son dropped it on the stairs , and after that i was not able to turn it on , only showing the orange color light on the power area . i tried calling sony canada for troubleshooting but they weren't able because it is model 1000 , can anyone tell me what to do or who to call for help. |

Ouch, how'd he manage that?
Is the orange light on when you charge it or all the time??
Sony should be able to help you however seeing its the 1000k model you'd have to contact Sony Japan, unless you speak Japanese I wouldn't bother..
IMO I'd go for a new PSP if anything, the new PSP-2000 model. If you need it modified. Get yourself a pandora battery and I'll walk you through the process somehow.
Just dont give your son the impression that if he drops the PSP down the stairs he gets a new one :P (or is it yours)
Oh, it might be wise to invest in a Polycarbonate Outing, the clear type.
