I've released the final version of PS2Lib, the premier Open Source development library for PlayStation 2. PS2Lib is a collection of low-level libraries written to access various PS2 peripherals, such as joypads, memory cards, the DVD drive, and the I/O Processor. This release contains a new CD/DVD access library written by loser and Sjeep, a Multitap access library written by Sjeep, and low-level EE Serial I/O access routines written by myself. It also includes numerous bugfixes and updates. The most noteworthy addition to this release, in my opinion, is the addition of auto-generated documentation through the use of Doxygen. This feature was implemented by blackdroid.
Because PS2Lib is now a part of ps2sdk, there will be no further development of PS2Lib. However, I will continue to support PS2Lib outside of ps2sdk, and the best way to get support is to use these forums. |
