Talking about using compression on memory to gain more memory.... they are talking about a performance penalty of only .2% to 9.2% worse case....while doubling the amount of memory....

the author has a website with some of the tools / more info...

anyone up to porting this for the PPC / PS3?

Interesting... but I think this is more applicable to the PSP than the PS3. Unless you're a Windows user, most folks don't think of 256MB as a problem. :)

MEMMU looks like it could be very helpful for PSP devs. I'll have to look into that a bit.
