With your PSP you can see pictures on your memory stick

If you use "home" or "select" button while seeing it, the menu appear with the picture in background

Unfortunately, as soon as you press a button (except arrows) the picture disappear...

Why is it impossible to set a wallpaper permanently? Are Sony guys stupids? Or will it be one of the first new feature?

Note : sorry for my poor english...

Intresting Discovery, I hope Sony will have a permanent wallpaper setting, cuz i just hate green colour for the background...

Any ideas to change the background permanently? i just don't like green.

First, the image you see in the background is not wallpaper, its just a transparent display OVER the image, it works the same in movies as well. Its to let you know the file is still open and you can resume viewing it (exit the menus).

Second, the color changes every month, yellow was last month, green this month... you can change the color by changing the month in the Date & Time settings to trick the PSP into it.
