NinjaVU took the early lead, but was quickly overcome by strong
supporters of both Oopo and Nagra, who have taken the lead with
nearly even numbers of votes.

Some say NinjaVU's extremist and unilateral actions are hurting his
chances in the election, but they may be overlooking a silent but solid
grassroots support for his policies in defending the turf of #ps2dev.

Support for the remaining candidates remains fractured, preventing
any real alternative to the trolling policies of the two main frontrunners.
Are they merely two sides of the same coin ? Perhaps only a debate can
settle the matter...

We still have some more days to see signs of life in other candidates!

SHENANIGANS!

Allegations of voting and election fraud have been made against this poll. While it is unknown whether it is due to partisan operatives from the Oopo or Nagra camps, what is known is that the outcome of the election is now in doubt. Can a troll be elected that truly represents PS2DEV ?

Investigative journalists researched PS2DEV forum voter registrations during the period at the opening of the polls, and there was a large surge in registrations, statistically far higher than any other day. Additionally, voter registrations were to names that may be perceived as suspiciously partisan.

If so what does he have to gain by framing me and Nagra, both law-abiding citizens of the ps2dev world?

Scrutiny of the election has intensified, as the leading candidate made charges of malfeasence against election officials. "I propose disection and interrogation!" screamed Oopo.

Turning away his head, Gorim haughtily raised his arm, responding only with: "Say it to the hand!"

As moods turn sour, Nagra may have an opportunity to take advantage of the discord. Was this his plan all along ?

Meanwhile, Mrbrown still doesn't have a vote.

I'd like to point out how slanted the vote is because of it's location.

It's seems like a farce that such an election would be held on the forums where ooPo has a very clear advantage over Nagra, and many other of the canidates.

ooPo and gorim are working together to do whatever it takes to rig the vote! Shananagins! I declare Shananagins!

The people have spoken!

First I would like to apologize for the delay in making the announcement. The election was close, and returns took a long time to count, recount, find lost ballots, twiddle some switches, and arrive at the proper vote tally.

But thats not all! As all should know, the popular vote never counts. Its only the vote of the Electoral College that settles it once and for all! So, all of you faithful election followers, shown to you live from the Japan Election Headquarters, is the PS2DEV Electoral College in action!

*Gorim casts the sole electoral vote for Oopo.*
