Hello.
This is kinda my first serious post on this forum, but I feel I want to give something back to this awesome project and not just leech ;-)
I was wondering if anyone is currently working on porting the DevIL Library (Developers Image Library)?
If not, I'm totally up for the task... I've done libraries on Linux before. Admittedly only shared libraries, but I hope there's not to much difference hence the PSP only takes static libraries or PRXs...
I have not checked the code for DevIL yet, but I'm going to download it now and review it. To see approximately how much work it would be to port it...
What I would need help with is the DevIL to OpenGL-Texture functions, as they need to be converted to create GU-textures instead (if it's not too much of a hastle...)
Ooh... and if someone is porting it I would like to help, if thats okey :)

Edit:
Just checked the requirements for compiling from source.
I know that Libpng, Zlib and Libjpeg exists for the PSPSDK, but what is the status on Libtiff, Libmng, Little CMS(Color Profiles) and JasPer(JPEG2000 support)? _________________ I only speak these languages:
