I'm wondering if someone already tried to do a USB webcam driver to the ps2sdk...
To be honest, I don't konw if there is a standard for USB webcams or if they need a specific driver and I really have no skills to do a lowlevel task like this, but it could be a challange to someone more skilled than me :)
After the driver made, it would be nice for capturing the image to a memory area which could be analized and processed ... What do you think ? |

| There is an eyetoy camera driver, so I assume it could be modified to work with other webcams.(It's in the ps2sdk) |

It seems that regular computer webcams and the eyetoy need different drivers. I must say I don't know nothing about low level drivers but as far I searched, eyetoy and webcams are not compatible...
By the way, is there a standard driver for PC webcams offering the basics for displaying the imagem or every model needs a custom driver?
If there is some sort of a standard I might be possible to do a PS2 driver. |
