Hi,
I'd like to share these documents with you, which pretty convinced me that mrbrown is right (once again ;o) about PRX encryption:

US Patent # 6,647,495
US Patent # 6,820,200

Among others,
page 3 (fig.2) in 6,647,495, combined with page 14 (fig.15) in 6,820,200.
