ok, ive gotten this far all by myself ( almost ;) and im all proud: 120 gb disk in my ps2, formatted, i have one partition recognized in ps2menu, the rest is for my hdd loader ( original )
on the hdd there is ps2reality, pgen, snes_emu, and a few other neat tools

now my question is, how can i get hdd support into ps2reality, pgen and snes_emu

all of those only show the cdrom and memcard ( and maybe net ) support

i can copy movies / roms / mp3 via ps2menu, but how would i get those tools to browse my hdd ?

Thx,
Law

and if they aren't going to do it then the only choice is to ask them to release the applications open source

Read the docs that come with the apps. If they don't mention the HDD, you'll have to talk with the authors. So it all comes down to RTFM and ask the authors. Both of which you can do yourself.

Hi, I have a 'legally' purchased copy of software designed for warez and I have a bunch of pirated media files, mostly movies and music though I have some pirated games in the form of roms... I was wondering how I could cram even more things I don't own onto the large phallic symbol I crammed into the PS2 earlier this week.

Can anyone help?

Here's the response I got from law:

Quote:
thank you very much for closing my topic ... I can see you guys dislike the hddloader but until now, i haven't posed any warez related question. I stick together with koyote on www.pdroms.de, ergo want to USE the dam roms on my ps2 with the emu ( you can ask him for reference ). The movies i make are just as much as my mp3s not under legal protection, not everyone is a warez kiddy you know. I would cut my own flesh if i was, since i am working in the gaming business myself. I also do www.dreamcast-scene.com together with Max in my free time, a huge dreamcast support site. And i am strongly against warez. The reason I own hddloader is that a) its loading times are great, b) my wife can keep our game dvds at her place with the 2nd playstation. And now you can either ban me, make up a bad excuse, seriously apologize or just ignore this message, I dont really care. Maybe you should rethink the attitude, take www.dcemulation.com as an example of good moderation, we all are against warez, but there is a line which has to be drawn by reason, not just pure paranoia.

Bye,
Law

Hf moderating ppl away from your site,
