A few questions about downgrading from 1.51
first i upgrade to 2.0 by executing the eboot for 2.0.
Then i run through the steps of the downgrader.
When i open overview.tif on my computer it says its a virus which deletes critical psp files which stops it from booting, called PSPBrick.
I downloaded it from www.psp-hacks.com
http://www.psp-hacks.com/psp-downgrade.php
Is this normal? |

| Yes it is. Erroneously, even legitimate 2.0 downgraders are flagged as PSP-bricking virii. Proceed, but proceed with caution. |

| I'd say it's probable that it's OK as no PSP site would knowingly host a malicious piece of software but I have little interest in that particular site so I wouldn't stake my life, or indeed my PSP, on it. |
