Its about time for a new "release" of ps2link ( be it named v1.23 or v1.24 ), but in order for a release I would like to ask if anyone has found any bugs/problems with ps2link ( apart from it not wanting to execute dinner on the fly ).

ps2ip/ps2smap problems is sort of separate issue, yes sure would be nice with general speedups and stability in ps2ip, but I am more keen on fixing any potential ps2link bug/problem for this release.

So let it roll.

I got once a problem with a packed, embedded version, but I guess this is due to the very lately discovered ps2-packer's bug. Otherwise, I am using ps2link from various situations and configurations, without experiencing troubles apart from those caused by buggy third party softwares :p

yes drakonite it has fewer bugs, and a fresh iomanx etc etc, its quite a normal evolution for most software. but that was not the question now was it :)

Well blackd, I believe the original question comes down to if the new ps2link is ready for a release, and I'm sure I made plenty of comments about it being ready for a release months ago, just without some of the mysterious features you were holding out for ;P

"1.23" had bugs ( and ofcourse I saw no sense in making an iso release of that zip I had online), and 1.24b had bugs fixed + load irx's (mysterious featuer?) on the fly, then lately we have had the all-in-one elf.

Anyway you have made your point and not found any bugs. fine.

How about a compile-time option for a list of irx files to autoload, and even pack into the elf? A quick way to add ps2netfs/ps2tubgirl, etc...

a bug ? you want a compile time option for adding a list of irx's to extra.cnf or to be included in the elf ? Is there a bug in how ps2link autloads irx's or what ?

Is that a bug report or a feature request?
