ok im going to come clean i aint a dev guy im a hardway guy so im not going to be talking n00b shite about development because its not my area but from my working out this should work and my reason for posting, so now we now have an exploit for 1.5 a nasty little hack :( that has already seen some dead MS i have a 1.0 so it does not effect me.

so here's the idea we know its possible to redump the the 1.0 flash files to a 1.0 with different backgrounds thanks to loser.

so why dont we strike while the iron is hot and use the 1.5 to our advantage create an eboot to dump the 1.0 root files back to the 1.5 root making it automated and trouble free a 1.0 again.

i know you have a policy on what 'sright and wrong im not saying you have to release anything but for you dev on 1.5 its a way to get back to 1.0 develoment enviroment :)

the only set back would be if the hardware writes a sig as it updates the firmware so even if you do sump the files it wouldnt work but i doubt this lets see im realy excited about the prospects of homebrew on the psp,it's even got me wanting to delve into coding myself.

maybe you can replace 1.2 version of the correct module of a 1.5 unit lflash with the 1.1 version of that module from a 1.0 unit lflash.

maybe you can kill your unit in this way.
also you would be infringin copyrigths.

i admit its a grey area and what this about the 1.2 unless you saying remover the ic containing the firmware easy to do but a pain all the same and would mean reflashing the ic which there is no easy way to do yet.

ive just revised my thinking idea, maybe this would be a bad idea because certain files would be in use while you are trying to replace this could cause a problem rendering the psp a brick sigh nevermind it was just an idea afterall.
