Sometimes its nice to give a little summary or piece of the article. Just in case the linked site goes down or if someone is looking for topics like this by searching the forums.
| Quote: | Being a security geek and all, I wondered what ports the PSP had open when it was connected to the network. So, I fired up nmap and located the device and then scanned it to see what I might find. Alas there was nothing...but one scan wasn't enough!
The next time I did the scan, I decided to probe all 65535 ports. I then became impatient and figured I would surf a little. No sooner than I had typed in my next page with my custom keyboard then the darn PSP reset on me! |

I found a similar thread over on PSP-Vault about people finding open ports on their PSPs.. thought some folks might be interested.

I did a port scan on my PSP last night and found port 21 to be open along with SMTP and POP3 ports open. I attempted to login and my ftp client tried to connect but, I need a username/pwd. Any help on this?
