Ok, so I just got my PSP last week and upon recieving it I noticed at least 2 dead pixels right away, I made 5 images of solid colors with the PSP screen dimensions and put them on my memory card, upon viewing the images I noticed about 10 more dead pixels. I contacted Sony about getting a replacement(this happened to my nintendo DS too and they sent me a new one right away). I recieved a response the next day and it said, and I quote, "Read page 11 in your manual. Dead pixels are a normal occurence on an LCD screen and we have no replacement policy for units with dead pixels." I am outraged, when Nintendo had this problem, they fixed it right away but according to Sony "it is a normal occurence" and out of all my friends that have a PSP 75% of them have dead pixels, this is just ridiculous, maybe dead pixels are a normal occurence in Sony's book, but I'm not about to spend $250 for a faulty product.

Exchange it. There are plenty of PSPs to go around.

Locked.
